Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce apparently spent millions for his pop superstar girlfriend Taylor Swift, friends and family to sit in a luxury suite during Super Bowl LVIII.
Kelce was seen discussing the cost of the Super Bowl LVIII suite with fellow tight end George Kittle of the San Francisco 49ers, one of the players featured in the Netflix series Receiver released on Wednesday (July 10), in a clip from the show that took place days ahead of their Super Bowl matchup.
“They’re f**king three million dollars,” Kelce responded after Kittle said his family planned to sit in the stands.
Kittle, who signed a five-year, $75 million deal with the 49ers in 2020, admitted that he has a "good contract," but believed the price wasn't worth it.
“It’s just like, ‘You guys are gonna be fine,'” he joked to Kelce, acknowledging that teammate Christian McCaffrey was able to secure a "nice deal" for his now-wife, model and former Miss Universe contestant Olivia Culpo, and his relatives.
Swift and Kelce, both 34, initially went public with their relationship when she attended his game against the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium last September. The three-time Super Bowl champion famously revealed that he attempted to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number when he attended her concert at Arrowhead Stadium prior to their relationship last summer.
Swift later said that Kelce "very adorably put me on blast" when he acknowledged the situation on his New Heights podcast, which she said "was metal as hell" while being featured as Time Magazine's 'Person of the Year' in December 2023.
